After my last ATX motherboard died, I decided to turn my mind tower pc in to a mini ITX one. New cooling solution and power supply were used, and it turned out to out performance the same hardware when it was in the old case, probably because I didn't pay any attention to thermals or maintenance for a while. I was glad the system reborn in a new look, and became even more capable in gaming and productivity tasks.$1,862.94 -

My main uses for this build is playing Valorant, communicating on Discord, and streaming on Twitch. The computer still run games well, even while streaming. It's also decently quiet, allowing me to communicate with my friends on Discord or stream on Twitch without too much disturbance. With the use of a router, I expanded wireless coverage in my house.$1,401.85 -

I chose the 5600G over the 5600X due to the small difference in performance. I wanted the integrated graphics for trouble shooting and in case I have to RMA my GPU I can still use the computer while waiting, albeit at much less graphics performance. I should still be able to game at low-mid settings near 60 FPS till the GPU comes back from the RMA. The 6600 XT will handle 1080p gaming on high setting with at least 60 FPS while streaming to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. If the 3060's hadn't been so expensive, I may have gone that route. As it is, I already exceeded my $750 budget and couldn't go any higher. I still have a couple things to add later. I want to add another kit of RAM to get me to 32Gb. I want to add 2 more case fans and a CPU cooler for better coolong (something like a hyper 212 Evo or similar, maybe a be quiet). I know a 5600G and a 6600XT aren't really gonna push thermals very high, but if I have a better cooler and a couple more fans then each fan won't have to run as high RPM and the system will be cool AND quiet.$1,071.93 -

This computer started as a molecular modeling build to develop better chemicals. Later, during the Covid days, it was folding for Microcenter team Houston, where it held #1 spot for some time among MC teams until overtaken by the Ohio MC store. Lately, it is used as a gaming build with 8K surround (three 2560 displays) with a rather decent performance (over 14000 Timespy graphics score). The budget for this build mostly went to microcenter where the case, motherboard, keyboard and mouse, CPU, CPU liquid cooler, RAM, DVD-RW, power supply and both SSDs were obtained. One of the three monitors too. Graphics cards from Nvidia. Over 1 Teraflops of (real 64-bit) computing power. The PC gave me thousands of hours of work support and gaming entertainment, well worth the ~3K invested.$3,023.95 -

I built this rig to support high refresh rate gaming at 1440p. I am very happy with the results and I am glad I went with DDR5 as the i5 excels with it. The 6800XT was on sale and it is giving me amazing performance on MW2.$1,669.92 -

I alternate in two different abodes and only have one PC. I've decided to build a second PC to accommodate my second home. After picking up some parts at Micro Center in Dallas, my friend came over and challenged me to build an anime themed PC knowing the fact that I've watched over 200 different animes. He also knew I'd never say no to a challenge, so I blame him for this. Introducing, "The Degeneracy." My second PC that I am not proud of. Most of the PC parts came from Micro Center and the weeb decor...other places. I mainly use this as a second work and gaming PC as it compiles code fast and has great FPS in most games. Games I play include OW2, Valorant, Genshi- uhhh Apex, and even some single player games. This PC has never let me down...despite appearance.$1,458.92 -

This build is great for the consumer who is looking to build their very first PC without breaking the bank! The AMD AM4 platform is tested well tride and true. It is perfect for both general, business, and gaming use. You can expect quality 1080p or 1440p high frame rates. The two SSD can be swapped out for a singular drive. P.S.: the cpu cooling solution pictured is not necessary. the cooler that comes with the CPU works plenty fine and allows for cool operable temperatures.$1,130.92 -

But this is my first own computer build. Love all the parts that I use to make this build. Only wish I did not get some of the parts from eBay. Ordered some NZXT fans from eBay not even an hour of use and they are starting the vibrate really bad. Wish I would have got them from Micro Center.$1,621.95 -

I have many hours of family video on vhs tape from the early 80's into the late 90's. I wanted to digitize, compile, clean and edit these videos into a modern format for the family to enjoy using topaz video enhance and adobe premiere. When I'm finished with that task, I would like to try my hand at creating videos as well. The rig will also serve as a gaming rig. It is lightning fast.$2,444.84 -

I built this computer around 4 years ago to play Team Fortress 2 and make music on ableton. Having played TF2 competitively in High School, my old rig started to really lag behind and I could hardly keep 50 frames in a game from 2007. Since I built it, I've upgraded my GTX 1660 TI to a 6700 XT and my CPU from Ryzen 5 2600 to 5600. Now I can run Doom at max frames in 1080p. although I'm currently looking to get a 1440p monitor.$899.96 -
